297 yards, 94 last week. old but still productive on a 4-0 team. nothing flashy
31 and still giving the vikings steady yards. 3.9 a carry. vikings are 3-0 with a good defense so nothing special needed.
Jones still has the feel for space that makes a back easy to trust. He presses the run, finds daylight late and gives the quarterback a legitimate outlet instead of a checkdown by default. Minnesota’s best version of him is a fresh, efficient Jones rather than a back asked to absorb every carry.
Strengths: Vision, receiving, patience, efficiency and veteran instincts.
Weaknesses: Age, recent availability concerns and workload management.
