Davis-Gaither gives the Colts a productive, versatile veteran at linebacker. He can cover, make plays on the ball and run down special teams, which makes him a natural fit in a defense that values flexibility. His 2025 workload shows he can handle a major role.
Strengths: Range, tackling volume, coverage production and special-teams impact. He has experience playing in different linebacker roles and keeps the defense flexible.
Weaknesses: He is more of a chase-and-flow defender than a true block-shedding thumper. Playing behind a new front requires quick chemistry and disciplined gap fits.
