Ferrell provides a veteran edge option in a front that has enough talent to use different packages. His role is to play sturdy football on early downs and make the young rushers' jobs easier by keeping the edge structurally sound.
Strengths: Veteran edge experience and rotational run-defense value.
Weaknesses: Needs to create enough pressure to avoid becoming solely an early-down option.
