9 tackles last week, 31 on the year with 2 picks and 3 pass breakups. best year of his career, 2-2 team
22 tackles and 3 pds in 2 games. calf is fine now. carolina's d needs him.
Devin Lloyd might be the piece that turns Carolina's defense from respectable into legitimately scary. Sunday was a game-changing linebacker performance, not just a good box score.
Lloyd is the new centerpiece of the middle: rangy enough to cover, instinctive enough to create takeaways and physical enough to finish plays in the box. He has the kind of complete game Carolina wanted to build around.
Strengths: All-Pro 2025, five interceptions, coverage range, tackle-for-loss ability, and clear centerpiece role.
Weaknesses: New scheme and new teammates require communication growth, and high expectations arrive immediately.
