Long snappers are noticed only when something goes wrong, and Deckers earned the right kind of quiet trust. Winning the job again gives Tampa continuity in every field-goal and punt operation.
Strengths: Retained specialist role, won preseason competition, and continuity with Tampa's established kicking operation.
Weaknesses: A specialist's value is almost entirely tied to snap precision; there is little margin for a bad rep.
