Harrison Smith Scouting Report (3)
37 and only 5 tackles. vikings are 3-0 so he's more smart than flashy now.
Smith has seen every disguise, route concept and quarterback trick there is, and that gives Minnesota a huge communication advantage. He may not be asked to cover endless ground like a young free safety, but his timing as a blitzer and his route recognition still change calls. The return is about quality, not nostalgia.
Strengths: Instincts, versatility, leadership, blitz timing and ball skills.
Weaknesses: Age-related workload limits and declining margin against elite vertical speed.
