Conner's rookie year was more about getting healthy and getting oriented than winning a job. His Texas résumé is substantial—43 starts at left guard—so there is a real base to develop. He has to turn that college steadiness into NFL strength and consistency while fighting through a much deeper interior group.
Strengths: Large frame, extensive college starting experience and strong recent pass-protection credentials. He also showed the patience to return from an early injury and contribute when activated.
Weaknesses: He has only five NFL appearances and no starts, after beginning 2025 on injured reserve. He needs to prove functional strength and position flexibility against pro interior defenders.
