Williams has done the most important thing a depth receiver can do in August: force coaches to notice him. The contested sideline catch and the camp awards point to someone playing with toughness, not just collecting easy practice completions. He needs to keep that edge when roles narrow.
Strengths: Competitive edge, improved camp form and ability to make difficult boundary catches. He has shown he can finish a well-placed ball even with coverage close.
Weaknesses: The active target hierarchy remains crowded behind Wilson, Mitchell and Cooper. His regular-season role will depend on special-teams value and proving the camp jump is sustainable.
