Kelly is developmental linebacker depth in a role-flexible defense. The best early outcome is excellence on special teams and enough comfort with the calls that the staff can use him without simplifying the defense.
Strengths: Young depth, active roster opportunity and special-teams route.
Weaknesses: Needs to earn a clearer role among a crowded, versatile front seven.
