Tomlinson is a proven, battle-tested starter at left guard brought in specifically to shore up Green Bay's most glaring roster hole, and his years playing in Kyle Shanahan's zone-blocking scheme should translate reasonably well to Matt LaFleur's similar system. At 34, the question is less about scheme fit than how much is left in the tank after more than a decade of starts.
Strengths: 162 career starts and a Pro Bowl track record give Green Bay an immediate, experienced answer at left guard.
Weaknesses: At 34 and just off Dallas' practice squad, there are real questions about his current physical level after a decline in playing time with Houston.
