6 for 12. giants offense is bad. 2 for 2 vs titans. nothing special.
Fields earned the right to develop on the active roster rather than waiting on the outside. His college production points to a receiver who can work a real route tree, and the Giants do not need to force him ahead of the veterans. The immediate goal is reliable details and selective impact plays.
Strengths: Productive college résumé, active-roster status and an opportunity to grow behind established veterans. He has shown he can compile catches and yards rather than relying solely on splash plays.
Weaknesses: The professional transition brings a major jump in coverage complexity and physicality. Target opportunities will be limited, so every route, block and special-teams rep has to be dependable.
