Wishnowsky has effectively been New England's emergency starting punter in 2026, repeatedly elevated from the practice squad while Bryce Baringer is on IR. A 105-game NFL veteran out of Utah, he brings real experience to a role the Patriots clearly didn't want to leave in untested hands.

Strengths: Veteran NFL punter with 105 career games played and a track record of durability and directional punting.

Weaknesses: Currently stuck on a week-to-week practice-squad elevation cycle rather than a guaranteed 53-man roster spot.
