left knee surgery put him on ir with about a 6 week timeline, though he says he'll be back sooner. when he's healthy he's the most dominant pass rusher in football and it's not close. the defense just isn't the same without him.

Myles Garrett Scouting Report (3)
The Garrett trade will end up looking like a massive overpay for the Rams.
Strengths: Obvious, he's one of the best pass rushers the NFL has ever seen.
Weaknesses: The expectations in L.A. are massive. If he doesn't produce, negative opinions will build.
Garrett is a game plan by himself. Offenses have to slide protection, chip him and still hope the ball comes out before his blend of power, length and bend arrives.
Strengths: Elite burst, violent hands, power through contact, closing speed, run disruption and proven high-volume sack production.
Weaknesses: The only realistic nit is that constant extra attention can limit clean one-on-one chances; his workload also needs smart management.
