Virgil is a developmental receiver with a useful floor because he already understands special-teams work. His final two college seasons show reliable production rather than a one-week spike, and the 6-foot-3 frame gives him a different shape from some of Arizona's smaller depth options. The first task is earning weekly active status.
Strengths: Productive college receiver, solid size and prior special-teams experience. His two-year run of 98 catches and 1,521 yards demonstrates consistency and he caught multiple passes in every 2025 Texas Tech game.
Weaknesses: He is a fifth-round rookie entering a crowded receiver room, with no NFL production yet. Route refinement, physical adaptation and special-teams execution will determine whether he sees offensive targets.
