33 catches on 46 targets is wild volume for a te. 7 for 31 last week tho, lots of targets and not much yardage. still a top 2 tight end
34 targets in 3 games, the cardinals offense basically runs through him. 9 for 11 vs the niners. big reliable target and great after the catch. best te in the league imo.
McBride is not merely a top tight end; he is the offense's most dependable answer. He catches everything in traffic, turns routine completions into extra yards and now finishes drives too. The massive 2025 volume proved the 2024 breakout was real. Defenses know where the ball is going and still struggle to stop him.
Strengths: Elite hands, toughness after the catch, high-volume reliability and greatly improved touchdown production. He has back-to-back seasons above 1,100 yards and is comfortable winning when covered tightly.
Weaknesses: His centrality creates an enormous defensive focus, so Arizona must keep building complementary threats. His aggressive hurdling style has drawn understandable injury and ball-security concern from coaches.
