Wheatley is the developmental safety with a lot of ways to fit. He can cover deep, come into the box and even slide into the slot; the immediate challenge is learning those choices without losing his fast trigger.
Strengths: Range, ball skills, box physicality, slot flexibility, elite college coverage result, and initial-53 roster win.
Weaknesses: Rookie with a big mental workload and limited immediate margin behind the established safety rotation.
