Aaron Rodgers Scouting Report (4)
age is showing a little but he still gets the ball out fast and makes smart throws. 292 yds and 3 tds in the win over cincy. not gonna wow you but he gives the steelers a chance every week.
it's time to hang up the cleats
Rodgers gives Pittsburgh a real answer at the position right now: a veteran who understands situational football, controls protections and has seen every coverage trick. The team does not need him to win August. It needs the operation to be sharp when the games matter and the young quarterbacks to benefit from the daily example.
Strengths: Elite experience, accuracy when in rhythm and rare command before the snap. He can diagnose leverage quickly, punish a predictable look and bring poise to late-game situations.
Weaknesses: Age and workload management are unavoidable factors, so Pittsburgh has to support him with protection and a real run game. The offense cannot depend on vintage off-script miracles every week.
