started ok, 9 catches for 123, then the finger thing. week to week so he'll miss time. jets need him healthy.
Mitchell is the high-ceiling complement this offense needs next to Wilson. The catch radius, speed and red-zone work are obvious, but the most encouraging thing is that Smith is already looking for him repeatedly. If the detail catches up to the traits, he can become a true boundary problem.
Strengths: Prototype size-speed blend, press-beating ability and a growing connection with the starting quarterback. He can threaten every level and create red-zone mismatch potential.
Weaknesses: He is still learning his third professional system and must make the preparation translate into play-to-play consistency. The big-play profile has to be supported by dependable routes on ordinary downs.
