McClain is a pure developmental story: an undrafted rookie with good size who got his first NFL opportunity only because the Jets were short-handed at receiver. He is not a finished product, but the length and college production at Arizona State give him a real chance to stick as a depth piece.
Strengths: Prototype size at 6-foot-4 with a college track record of contested catches at Arizona State.
Weaknesses: Unproven at the NFL level with no regular-season production yet and a roster spot that depends on others' injuries.
