Williams earned the active roster in a group that only kept two rookie receivers, which gives him a real development platform. He does not need to jump the veterans on day one. He needs to absorb the offense, play fast on special teams and prove that his reps can be trusted when the starters need a breath.
Strengths: Active-roster status, workable 6-foot-1 size and a direct developmental role behind an experienced starter. He has an opportunity to grow without being asked to carry the room.
Weaknesses: The target path is crowded and the public current material does not establish a major offensive role yet. He must earn trust with precision and consistency before a larger projection is justified.
