Allen has done exactly what a rookie needs to do in Kansas City: make enough plays that Mahomes and the staff keep looking his way. The roster spot is earned; staying healthy and contributing on specials are next.
Strengths: 2026 draft investment, productive minicamp and camp, initial-53 spot, and growing quarterback trust.
Weaknesses: Rookie with a recent shin bone bruise and an uncertain target share behind established options.
