D.J. Jones is the sturdy middle-of-the-defense presence. He brings low-center leverage and lets Denver's faster players hunt around him.
Strengths: Run defense, leverage, interior strength, experience and physical tone-setting.
Weaknesses: Pass-rush ceiling is lower than Denver's attacking interior linemen, and snap load must be managed.

Jones does not need to lead the sack race to be valuable. He is the sturdy interior presence who helps keep the run game honest and lets Denver's faster rushers attack more favorable angles. The 2025 three sacks were a nice bonus. A six fits a dependable veteran starter: not flashy every week, but the sort of player a front needs when games get physical.
Strengths: He has strong size, run-defense instincts and a lengthy track record of steady interior production. Jones can absorb blockers, keep linebackers cleaner and still provide occasional pocket push.
Weaknesses: He is not the same explosive interior pass-rush threat as Allen, so his impact can be quieter in clear passing situations. His role depends on maintaining leverage and conditioning against heavy double-team workloads.
