chargers are 0-3 and he's barely getting thrown to. vet with a big body but nothing is happening.
Njoku gives Herbert a veteran target who has seen every coverage and scored plenty of touchdowns. He is not being asked to carry the whole room anymore, which could be a great fit: let the younger players run while Njoku wins matchups, works the red zone and provides a calm answer on third down.
Strengths: Established receiving production, red-zone instincts, athletic catch radius and a long history of handling starter-level snaps. He is a credible mismatch against linebackers.
Weaknesses: His 2025 yardage fell sharply from his Pro Bowl peak, and he enters a shared tight-end room at 30. He must stay healthy and adapt to a role with fewer guaranteed targets.
