Spomer has already cleared an important hurdle by making the 53 as an undrafted center. That tells you the staff sees something in his daily work and command of the position. He is still a long way from a proven NFL contributor, but backup centers can become valuable quickly when they know the offense and stay ready.
Strengths: Earned roster status as an undrafted rookie, developmental upside and a position where preparation and communication matter enormously.
Weaknesses: No NFL game production or established starting experience. He must continue adding strength, mastering protections and proving he can handle the speed of pro interior defenders.
