Deommodore Lenoir Scouting Report (2)
Lenoir has grown into one of the steady pieces in the secondary. He started every game last year, picked off two passes and returned them for 90 yards, including a 64-yarder. I like that he can play outside or slide inside without acting like it is a completely different job. He is competitive at the catch point and does not hide when the offense runs at him. He is not a true erase-the-number-one-receiver corner, though, and bigger or faster targets can still put him in tough spots. That makes him a seven for me: versatile, durable and capable of making plays, but a notch below the elite cover guys.
Strengths: His versatility and toughness stand out. Lenoir reads underneath routes well, drives aggressively on the ball and is comfortable tackling in traffic. Eight interceptions over the last four seasons show that his ball production is repeatable rather than a one-year fluke.
Weaknesses: At 5-foot-10, he can give away size at the catch point, and true vertical speed can force him to open early. His pass breakups fell to five in 2025 after nine and 10 the prior two years, so there were fewer consistently disruptive coverage reps even though the interceptions remained.
