Fannin is on his way to becoming the centerpiece of Cleveland’s passing game, not just its tight end.
Fannin is not just a tight end who catches a few checkdowns; he is a real receiving centerpiece with ball skills and YAC juice. Cleveland can use him as an H/F mover, but the next evolution is maintaining the pass-game impact while growing as a blocker.
Strengths: 72-catch rookie record, 731 yards, seven total scores, athletic YAC ability, and clear lead-tight-end role.
Weaknesses: His body type is less a traditional in-line blocking Y, so physical edge work remains the developmental counterweight to his receiving gifts.
