Daniels' best trait may be his composure rather than his arm. He operated efficiently, used his legs to extend plays and avoided turnovers. The next test is whether he can consistently punish defenses that take away his first read and force him to win from the pocket.

Daniels is not merely a developmental extra—he won the backup job. His mobility and timing make him a plausible stylistic fit if needed, though the regular-season sample is still entirely ahead of him.
Strengths: Won the backup competition, strong preseason production, mobility, poise, arm talent, and command of the playbook.
Weaknesses: Rookie with no NFL regular-season experience and only one backup spot behind a durable incumbent starter.
