Jeremy Crawshaw Scouting Report (3)
Crawshaw already looks like more than a developmental big leg. He can flip the field with distance, but the encouraging part is the touch: Denver has trusted him to chase placement as well as raw yardage.
Strengths: Leg strength, directional potential, inside-the-20 placement, poise and holding value.
Weaknesses: Still early in his NFL development, with hang-time and net consistency the areas opponents will test.
Crawshaw made a difficult specialist transition look remarkably easy. A 47.6-yard average, 30 balls inside the 20 and only nine touchbacks is mature field-position work, not empty distance. The PFWA All-Rookie recognition fits; Denver found a young punter who can flip a field and consistently make the coverage unit's job friendlier.
Strengths: Big, repeatable distance, strong directional results and excellent early poise. His franchise-record average and 30 inside-the-20 punts show both leg talent and the touch required when territory matters.
Weaknesses: One excellent rookie year is not a finished résumé, and punting performance can fluctuate with coverage and weather. He still needs to show the same precision and durability across multiple seasons.
