Josh Minkins

Minkins is not a player to oversell yet. His job is straightforward: be assignment-sound, show up on every special-teams rep and make the coaches comfortable using him when the game gets messy. That is a valuable path for a young safety, and it can earn a longer look if the daily consistency is there.

Strengths: Young developmental depth with a clean opportunity to make a mark through effort, coverage-unit discipline and attention to detail. The safety role offers room for a dependable reserve to carve out value.

Weaknesses: There is little established NFL production or starting experience to support a bigger rating. He must prove his processing, tackling reliability and special-teams impact before he can be counted on defensively.
