Medrano has a realistic early role because athletic linebackers who cover kicks always have value. He is a developmental defender behind quality veterans, so his tape has to be fast, physical and assignment-clean. That can earn more defensive looks over time.
Strengths: Athletic traits, special-teams value, positional flexibility, and developmental upside.
Weaknesses: He is blocked by a strong top three and needs more proven defensive production before projecting as more than depth.
