Sharar is a classic late-round linebacker bet: productive when finally given a starting job in college, physical enough to make tackles, and already comfortable on special teams. He does not need to win a defensive job immediately. He needs to make the roster through the units and keep developing the reads that unlocked his Iowa breakout.
Strengths: High-motor recent college production, 12 tackles for loss in 2025 and extensive special-teams experience. He has shown he can make impact plays once entrusted with responsibility.
Weaknesses: He is a sixth-round rookie with only one college season as a full-time starter. NFL coverage processing and block shedding will determine whether he grows beyond a special-teams role.
