Williamson has a very clear job description, and he has embraced it: fly down on special teams, be assignment-sound and be ready when safety snaps arrive. Eleven special-teams tackles in a full 17-game season earned him an extension and make him more than anonymous depth.
Strengths: Special-teams effort, tackling temperament, availability and knowledge of the system. His Stanford background and two years with the club give him a stable foundation as a depth safety.
Weaknesses: His defensive sample remains limited, so it is fair to want more evidence against NFL passing concepts. He needs to show he can consistently create value from scrimmage, not only in the kicking game.
