Quentin Johnston Scouting Report (2)
Johnston made real progress as a playmaker. Eight touchdowns and 14.4 yards a catch show that defenses have to account for his size and speed downfield. He is no longer just a projection. The next leap is becoming steadier from week to week, especially when the deep shot is not there and the offense needs a contested catch or chain-moving route.
Strengths: Size-speed combination, vertical juice, red-zone scoring and steadily growing production. He can stretch coverage and has delivered explosive plays that change how safeties align.
Weaknesses: His catch rate was 52.9% in 2025 and he missed three games, so consistency and availability remain unfinished business. He needs to be more reliable on routine targets, not only dangerous on explosive designs.
