Mack is still an edge-setter in every sense. He can win with power, hands and veteran anticipation, and four forced fumbles in 12 games show the finishing instinct is intact. Los Angeles does not need him to play every snap; it needs him fresh enough to wreck the biggest downs and teach the young rushers how to work.
Strengths: Elite power, hand usage, run-setting strength, strip-sack instinct and exceptional professional experience. Few edge players affect quarterbacks and ball security as consistently.
Weaknesses: At 35, workload management and availability are increasingly important. His 2025 sack total was lower than his peak, so the Chargers must preserve him rather than rely on him to create every rush.
