Epps is a veteran safety answer in a secondary that wants to move DeJean around. Fangio's plan makes his role clear: bring reliable communication and keep the back end stable when the defense shifts into nickel.
Strengths: Veteran safety experience, scheme-specific role and communication value.
Weaknesses: Role depends on a changing personnel structure and has competition across the secondary.
