Hughes is a rookie project with time to learn the pro game while he recovers. His first goal is to turn college instincts into reliable special-teams and coverage responsibilities.
Strengths: Drafted development status, linebacker athleticism and special-teams opportunity give him a credible future pathway.
Weaknesses: Injury status and no NFL sample mean his readiness, coverage polish and ability to take on blocks remain unproven.
