great complement to Chase. 6 for 90 and a td vs pittsburgh. big body and elite at contested catches, would be the number 1 on a lot of teams.
Higgins would be the clear number one receiver on a lot of teams. He caught 11 touchdowns last year, averaged 14.3 yards per catch and made the Pro Bowl while playing opposite the best receiver in football. At 6-foot-4, he gives Burrow a completely different answer from Chase—back-shoulder throws, high-point fades and those sideline catches where the defender is in decent position and it just does not matter. He is a nine for me. The only thing holding him back is availability; he always seems to miss a couple games. When healthy, this is one of the league's most dangerous boundary receivers.
Strengths: Higgins has elite catch radius, body control and contested-catch timing. He wins vertically without needing pure burner speed, dominates red-zone leverage and remains productive even when targets fluctuate because Chase commands the offense.
Weaknesses: He has dealt with recurring soft-tissue and other injuries and has not completed a full 17-game season. Sudden separators can create easier targets than he does, so some of his wins require Burrow to trust him in genuinely tight coverage.
