Levis landed with the Jets purely as developmental depth after his Titans tenure fizzled; New York is betting there is still a usable arm in there even if it is buried on the taxi squad behind Geno Smith. For now he is a name with former high-draft capital attached rather than an active contributor.
Strengths: Big arm and starting NFL experience that gives the Jets a credible third option if injuries hit the quarterback room.
Weaknesses: Was let go by his original team and currently sits on the practice squad with no path to game snaps.
