Mallory is the athletic mover in this group. His regular-season role has been light, but the camp reports and preseason production show why the Colts keep investing in him. Once he is available again, he can create a different kind of matchup from the more physical tight ends.
Strengths: Straight-line speed, leaping ability, receiving instincts and a productive 2026 camp. He can threaten seams and work open space in a way that gives the offense useful personnel flexibility.
Weaknesses: His regular-season production has yet to match the athletic profile, and his current designated-to-return status delays the opportunity. He needs to show more blocking consistency to command broader weekly usage.
