Parker feels like a sixth-rounder with a real chance to outplay his draft slot. He started 33 games at Duke, earned All-America recognition and allowed only three sacks over 538 pass-block snaps last year. Cincinnati moved his versatile tackle background inside, where his technique and intelligence can play up. The return-designated IR move delays the experiment, and he has not taken an NFL snap yet, so a six is projection. Still, this is promising developmental depth at every line spot.
Strengths: He brings extensive experience on both sides at tackle, disciplined pass-protection technique and enough football intelligence to cross-train at guard and center. His hand placement and balance helped him earn consecutive second-team All-ACC selections.
Weaknesses: Parker does not have overwhelming length or power for an NFL tackle and must prove he can anchor against professional interior rushers. He is changing positions, has no regular-season experience and now loses early practice time to injury.
