6 for 86 and a td last week while sick. only 2 games with stats but the guy is just a stud, not a normal te
he's a cheat code when he's out there, 10 for 14 and 116 yds in his one game this year. the knee has kept him from playing a full slate and that's the only thing holding him back. raiders are 3-0 but they'd love him healthy all year.
Bowers isn't the next great tight end. He’s already the best receiving tight end in the NFL.
Bowers is not a conventional tight end waiting for a conventional role. He is a playmaker the offense can move around until the defense gives him a matchup he likes. He runs like a big receiver, competes after the catch and forces opponents to decide whether they want a linebacker or defensive back trying to cover him.
Strengths: Explosive route running, versatility, yards after catch, contested-play competitiveness and matchup stress.
Weaknesses: Heavy defensive attention and a role that can be limited if protection breaks down early.
