filling in for Murray and honestly doing fine, 3 tds and no picks. veteran who's not gonna lose you games. just don't ask him to do too much.
Wentz gives the room the sort of veteran readiness that matters when a season gets messy. He has been working in the backup structure, took the early reps in the preseason finale and can keep a plan functional without demanding that the offense reinvent itself.
Strengths: Extensive professional experience, size and enough arm strength to execute the full field. He can provide steady preparation and a credible reserve option when the younger quarterbacks need time or recovery.
Weaknesses: The current role is clearly behind Murray, and his short preseason stint did not offer much opportunity to establish rhythm. He has to play on schedule and avoid the risky throws that have interrupted previous stretches.
