team is 4-0 but he's not the reason. 1 td in 3 games, 27 of 37 last week was fine but its a game manager role
vikings are 3-0 but that's mostly everyone else. he's been shaky, 2 picks, and the concussion didn't help. still a gifted athlete but i'm not seeing the polish.
Murray brings instant creation to an offense already built around spacing and explosive skill talent. O'Connell chose him after an open competition, and the camp flashes show why: he can stay accurate outside the pocket without turning every snap into chaos. The fit depends on how quickly he fully owns the vocabulary and timing of a new system.
Strengths: Rare mobility, quick release and the arm talent to attack from altered platforms. His 87 starts give Minnesota a quarterback who has seen game pressure and can create when the coverage wins the first beat.
Weaknesses: He is still learning the Vikings offense and has to balance improvisation with its timing structure. Too much pressure-created freelancing can keep easy completions and a talented supporting cast from doing their job.
