Giddens is a patient young runner with enough college production to believe there is more coming than his 26 rookie carries showed. He has good size, handled receiving work at Kansas State and gets to learn behind a great example in Taylor. That is a useful runway for a second-year back.
Strengths: Productive, efficient college runner with capable hands and a sturdy 212-pound frame. He has the vision to press a crease and the background to contribute in more than one phase.
Weaknesses: His rookie NFL sample was limited and did not yet produce a breakout play. He needs sharper pro-level pass protection and more decisive downhill finishes to earn a larger share of carries.
