Endries is a seventh-round pick, but he is not raw. He started all 39 college games and caught 124 passes, including a 65-catch season at Cal before transferring to Texas. That kind of experience gives him a chance to stick around. I have him at a five because there is no NFL evidence yet and this tight end room is crowded, but he understands how to find space and gives the coaches something to develop. The question is whether he has enough speed and blocking strength to separate himself from several veterans who already know the offense.
Strengths: Endries brings reliable hands, extensive starting experience and a good feel for zone coverage. His production in two major-conference offenses suggests he can learn different systems and contribute as a possession target.
Weaknesses: He is an average athlete for the position and must add functional strength as an NFL blocker. Without a standout physical trait, he may struggle to earn game-day snaps in a deep veteran room.
