Reid has already done something valuable by making Denver's roster as an undrafted rookie and sticking around. His early preseason plays showed awareness, but his real job is still special teams and learning the defense. A four is a fair developmental grade. If he stays healthy, those instincts could earn him more than just spot snaps over time.
Strengths: He has shown early instincts around the football, resilience as an undrafted player and special-teams utility. Reid earned a difficult roster spot and has a foundation to develop as an inside linebacker.
Weaknesses: His regular-season defensive sample is tiny and injury interrupted his rookie year. He needs more strength at the point of attack and more game reps before he can be treated as a dependable defensive contributor.
