Key's 2025 season was not just good special-teams play; it was All-Pro, league-leading work. Twenty-six special-teams tackles is a franchise record for a reason. A six recognizes how much that changes field position and game flow, while keeping his role honest as a safety reserve. He is exactly the kind of player championship-caliber rosters need.
Strengths: He is an elite coverage-team tackler with outstanding effort, timing and open-field reliability. Key also provides useful safety depth and can contribute defensively without losing his special-teams edge.
Weaknesses: His primary value is special teams, so he has not established a full-time defensive starter's workload. If forced into extensive safety snaps, he must prove the same consistency in coverage that he brings to kick coverage.
