Mullens is the definition of a trusted journeyman arm: Jacksonville keeps elevating him off the practice squad specifically because he knows the operation well enough to be the emergency plan behind Trevor Lawrence. He is not pushing for snaps, but his presence lets the Jaguars carry a lean quarterback room without real risk.
Strengths: Veteran command of an NFL offense and enough starts around the league that the coaching staff trusts him in a true emergency role.
Weaknesses: Has not secured a permanent 53-man spot and offers little upside beyond a stopgap arm behind Trevor Lawrence.
