Franklin gives Denver a young stride-length threat who can stretch the picture for a quarterback. He does not need to be the first read every play; he needs to make defenses respect the vertical route.
Strengths: Speed, vertical potential, young upside and growing Nix familiarity.
Weaknesses: Crowded depth chart and a need for more consistent route detail and contested-catch finishing.

Franklin took a real second-year step. Sixty-five catches and six scores are not merely a few deep shots; they show a receiver becoming part of the weekly structure. He still has another gear to unlock as a downfield threat, but the connection with Nix is promising. A seven fits a young starter with production, length and clear runway to become even more dangerous.
Strengths: He has size, college-proven vertical production and rapidly improving NFL volume. Franklin is a credible red-zone target and has already demonstrated that he can handle a larger route and target load.
Weaknesses: His 2025 yardage per catch was modest for a player with his downfield profile. He must beat physical coverage more consistently and become a more reliable separator on routes that are not schemed open.
