Casey brings the sort of dependable college tape Denver likes, plus enough flexibility to help in several places. He is a rookie, but making the 53 says his first impression was a good one.

Strengths: Versatility, durability, quickness, intelligence, consistency and pass-protection background.

Weaknesses: Needs to add NFL strength, faces a jump in competition and has no professional game sample yet.

Casey has the profile of a useful young Denver lineman: lots of college starts, few sacks allowed and the flexibility to learn several spots. The coaching staff is already testing that versatility inside and outside. A five is a healthy rookie grade. He has a real chance to become valuable depth quickly, but pro strength, leverage and processing will determine how soon he can be trusted.

Strengths: He brings outstanding college durability, polished tackle experience and true multi-position potential. Casey has good size, a proven pass-protection résumé and the football intelligence to learn guard and center work.

Weaknesses: He has no NFL regular-season tape and must translate college technique to stronger, faster rushers. Moving among several positions can slow early development if he does not establish one reliable home first.
